Sugarloaf great helm

Circa 1250 - the sugarloaf, a type of great helm popular during the late Crusades. The semi-conical top deflected blows much more efficiently than the earlier style flat-topped great helms. Crafted in 16 gauge steel with brass trim, with support liner. One size fits many, but not for the big-headed or large-nosed (ouch!)
