Legacy Arms/Gen2 Pompeii gladius

This is the Legacy Arms / Gen 2 version of the famous Pompeii gladius, the early Empire standard issue straight-sided pattern, verified and reproduced from an example excavated out of the AD79 disaster. The double edged blade is +2 damage sharp, and the needle tip will punch right through the shield (and likely armor) of the fiercest Celt. The hilt is smoothly carved hardwood, the guard and scabbard fittings stainless steel. Comes with a sturdy wood-core leather wrapped scabbard. This style sword is claimed to have killed more foes (barbarian and fellow Roman alike) than any other sword type in history.
