Red Dragon HEMA heavy jacket

Made in the UK by Red Dragon, this padded HEMA jacket is intended for heavy sparring: longsword, polearm, and two-handed weapons. It is from 350N rated heavy-duty cotton with an inner lining and double-overlay zipped front panel to protect against thrusts. This jacket also features an innovative built in gorget designed to overlap the bib of a fencing mask and thrusts from travelling upwards. The gorget features a padded plastic plate to protect the throat and adjustable Velcro straps that allow it to be attached either at the back of the collar or at the back of the shoulders, or tucked under the mask bib if desired. The back of the jacket features an adjustable webbing strap with velcro that allows it to be pulled in at the waist for a more streamlined fit.
