The Paul Chen/Hanwei 'practical' arming (one-handed) sword is tailored to the needs of the re-enactor. Featuring authentic hilt styling with fully tempered rebated and non-pointed blades, these swords are made to withstand rugged use while providing the level of safety required by many of today's re-enactment societies. Brightly polished steel blade, stain polished steel fittings (blade looks dark in some of the pictures because we had to angle it to not reflect too much glare). Classic simple hilt with a permanently-mounted grip and peened tang. The blade is fullered for balance and has 1/16" edges and a rounded tip. Includes wood scabbard with steel fittings.
