This web page is to formalize what we're already doing on a regular basis.

A service for collectors and re-enactors who have items they'd like to sell
... this website gets over 2,000 page-views per day - that's a lot of arms
and armor enthusiasts looking for cool stuff. The commission sale process
includes cleaning and identification of pieces if needed, photography and
cataloging, advertising, sales, and shipping. Items must be sent to us, but
they'll be treated and cared for as if they were our own. We'll help you
determine proper market value and advertise your item until sold or until
you request it's return - in which case the item will be promptly shipped back to you via insured Priority Mail, no questions asked.
Note that we will not traffic in any Nazi related items for any reason.
Commision rates vary, send email with a description of your items for more details.
Do you have a small business selling antique arms and armor from a shop or
website that doesn't get enough visitors? Are you a modern armorer or swordsmith looking to have your wares presented in front of thousands of collectors each week?
Would you like to see your collection or the fruits of your workshop
presented alongside the hundreds of quality items listed on this website? Drop us a note and we'll talk. No
Made in IndiaPakistanTaiwan items, please, if we wanted to present that stuff here we'd already be
doing it.
We used to have a "Whatsit" page up where we asked the world to help identify unusual armor and weapons ... it's only fair to return the favor. If you have a "I don't know what the heck this is, but it's definetly armor related or some strange weapon", send pictures (or a picture URL) and we'll see what we can do.
This service is free - performed out of sheer love for arms and armor and education. If you're asking for identification with a mind towards selling the item, all we ask is that you give us first dibs on purchasing or commission sales as outlined above. Items cannot be identified from descriptions alone, we need to see pictures or the piece itself. We are not licensed to supply appraisals, and we do not reveal the prices received on our items that have been sold.
Looking to have that special weapon or piece of armor made for you? We have
an awful lot of talented friends and associates, and will put you in touch
with the right craftsman who can help make your dreams come true. This is a
free service.
Yes, we can help you find that marvelous whatever-it-is-you-need to round
out your collection. Twenty years of research and acquisition has led us to
lot of nooks and crannies where treasures are hidden. Please specify what
you're looking for and the desired condition and price range, and we'll do our darndest to turn one up.
