Scottish sgian achlais

length: 7 1/4"
blade: 3 1/2"
blade width: 15/16"
grip: 3 3/4"
weight: 2 oz

Victorian era copy of the sgian achlais, the 1600's and 1700's dagger that proceeded the sgian dubh and was worn hidden in the armpit, rather than tucked into the sock. More information on the sgian achlais and the sgian dubh is available here. I'm trying really hard not to think about the armpits of Scotsmen.
