Modern reproduction of the British Model 1879 saw-back bayonet - originally made for the Martini-Henry rifle (long lever, short lever, and carbine versions), this bayonet also became a favorite sidearm / all-purpose tool for artillery and engineering corps. Good for cutting brush and fascines and setting cannon emplacements - and as a wicked close-combat short sword. High quality, high-carbon steel, tempered for use. Sheath included.
